The $45 Waffle Debate
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A $45 waffle shouldn’t feel like a personal attack, but the internet treated it that way and we had to talk about it. We break down the controversy around DaBaby opening No Knife Chicken and Waffles, why menu prices trigger people, and what “target clientele” really means in restaurant culture. If you’ve ever looked at a price tag and thought, who is this for, we dig into the honest answer and why the loudest complaints often reveal more about expectations than economics.
Then we switch gears into something we love: music. We share what’s in heavy rotation right now, including the pull of soul and hip-hop, the surprise comfort of alternative rock, and how house music can become a guilty pleasure thanks to one late-night radio DJ. We also take a quick detour into legends, including a real conversation about Prince, how people remember his eras, and why every icon has lyrics that make you pause when you listen back.
The heart of the conversation is our question of the day: what’s a good age for a man to get married? We don’t land on a clean number, because readiness beats a timeline. We talk stability, self-awareness, life experience, purpose, and the pressures men feel around proposing, providing, and “having it together.” We also touch on the myth of social media value and how online attention can distort what people think they deserve in real life.
If any of this hit home, subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a review with your take: what matters more for marriage, age or readiness?

Cold Open And Catching Up
SPEAKER_01Shit. Maya and Home Dog.
SPEAKER_00Oh my God, that's classic. You remember Maya, right? Maya, that name sounds familiar. But light-skinned Jim. I know, I know Maya. Yeah, I know Maya. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02She got famous off for that journal.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, what's happening? You just caught a little BTS. It may make it. It may not. If you if you're lucky, you song. You never know. Alright. Post the song, Conversations. It's your favorite still Fox Rob Malloy. Hey, it's Jay. I'm here. Mr. Check Trade. Check Trey. That's dope, right? So many ways. So many ways, man. Alright, so um, man, let's kind of jump right in. First of all, man, how you feel? I feel good. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, you know, it's been uh uh last month was good. Last month was a good month. Right, right, right. And this month is is uh starting off pretty good. It's a buildup, yeah. It's a build-up, anticipation. Yeah. Uh a little anxious.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But that's good, though, because I work good under pressure. I ain't gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, me too, man. So I guess you gotta honest. Like because I know my skill set, sometimes I just kind of give myself a little bit more grace than be like, all right, it goes the next 24, 48 hours, you gotta you gotta knock it out of the park. You gotta lock in. Yeah, so that's that's kind of how it goes all right. So look, um, so what we got, man. We got a lot of different things on the menu that we want to do.
SPEAKER_02So um have a conversation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So what you thinking, man? Because there's a lot of stuff that I wanted to make sure that we had chopped it up about that we see on the internet, because our audience keeps telling us about different things and they want our opinion. Every day, man.
SPEAKER_02Right. Every day, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So we're gonna give y'all a little bit. We we're gonna give y'all that this episode, man. We're just gonna let you know how we feel about a lot, a lot of different things going on.
SPEAKER_00I ain't gonna lie, it's something fresh on my brain right now. Oh,
DaBaby’s Restaurant Prices And Backlash
SPEAKER_00okay. I think, and I just saw this today. Cook then. So your boy, hey, shout out to the baby, man. Okay. They frying him up.
SPEAKER_01Dang, what are they frying him up about?
SPEAKER_00So the baby, uh, he opened a restaurant. Alright. I think it's called Knife, Knife Out or No Knife, no, it's called No Knife.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00No knife chicken and waffles.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_00And so they frying them up, man. They posted the menu online. Okay. And they just complained about the prices. They say he got $45 waffles.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00That ain't that ain't crazy? No. Oh, that hey, that's that's the that's the controversy. They're saying the charge.
SPEAKER_01Man, you I I wonder, you know, how they come up with that. Like, what is the what is the comparison? Because, you know, it's not uncommon uh when you start talking about certain qualities of the spot. Like, I can name some spots right now, man, that you'd be like, nah, I'm not paying that, whether it's breakfast, brunch, or whatever the case is. So maybe they have the expectations for him, but but at the end of the day, and I'm gonna let you ride with it, is you really want to attract a certain clientele.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Right?
SPEAKER_01So we're not talking about, you know, we're trying to take over the Waffle House. Uh we're not trying to take over the Waffle House's audience. Nah. Right? So you're not trying to get them into your establishment. So you so think about it. What type of people don't really look at prices like that? What type of people don't really care about, you know, they're more about the atmosphere, and as long as the quality of the food is good, they're gonna pay whatever.
SPEAKER_00That's a good point. I mean, that that's how I feel, but you know. So it's kind of like the people that's complaining is almost like they exposing themselves. Like, you can't pay the 45 for the waffles, and you basically, nah, but but see, I get it. I think that a lot of times we try to hold people to to a standard. Yeah, yeah. Especially when it comes to black business. Like, that'd be that's always the first thing. If it's a black-owned business, they're gonna they're gonna scrutinize your prices. They're gonna tell you whether or not you charge, they gonna they're gonna try to tell you how much you should be charging. And it's not even it's it's not your business. Right. So, like, you don't have any type of dictation. If you don't want it, don't go. Don't go. Like, you just simply don't have to go. But I just thought it was funny how it was so many people like in a in an uproar online about these $45 waffles. And I mean, at the end of the day, I the baby had a tough, you know, his career, he had he came out smoking hot. You know, he had all the singles. Right. Uh uh, he had a good run. Yeah. Then he said some whatever that got him got him in the controversy and he kind of fell off after that. Okay. He still was putting music out, trying to get back on, but it just wasn't catching like it was before. So I'm not mad at him, you know, pivoting, making a switch, you know, diversifying, hey, open up the restaurant. It's another income source, it's another revenue stream. And the people that don't like it, hey man, y'all just don't have to go. Don't go. But I didn't I didn't see the reason to, you know, to do them like that. Like, bro, I already been through enough. And y'all want to come down on him just because he's trying to, hey man, let him work. Let the man work.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, the internet's not gonna have any mercy on anybody. There's no there's no exclusions when uh people going off on the internet. Man, it's unfortunate though, because uh a lot of negativity spreads so fast, right? But uh, you know, at the end of the day, man, you you want a specific clientele with whatever you create. So for instance, if you over here and you sewing backpacks and sweaters and stuff like that, and you want to sell it for $100, and you know the blood, sweat, and tears that it took to do that, you you be livid if somebody's saying, nah, I ain't paying $100. You like, but just don't buy it. If you want to go to the thrift, but but at the same time, who is really complaining when you start talking about high-end stuff?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, no.
SPEAKER_01They're bragging about it, right? They're talking about, hey, I paid 10 bands for this purse, I pay 20 bands for this watch. Like, and them people don't know you. Some of the people don't even really want you buying their stuff and you still supporting it. Right. Right? So, man, you know, it it it's always gonna be some opposition, especially when you're doing something new, and and especially when your creator has given you the vision. Oh, yeah. It's gonna come with some of that stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So uh, yeah, shout out to the baby, man. Uh, so he he's in Charlotte, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Is the restaurant in Charlotte, too?
SPEAKER_00I believe so. Okay. Yeah, I believe so. So I don't know what that economy is like over there. Charlotte's cracking. They're cracking, okay. They got it. So he's gonna get some business.
SPEAKER_01He he got he has the so he he is serving the right audience. So you don't want to go and you don't want somebody in there that's gonna complain about it anyway. Right. Right? You want somebody that's not even really looking at the price, they're looking at the food and they order. Like there are people, people exist that don't look at prices, right? Like nobody, if you're in a restaurant and there's nothing on the, there's no prices on the menu, people that are in there aren't asking how much does the lobster and the swordfish cost. They're just ordering it. That's it. That's where you want to be at, I would think, right? Right. Because money, money is just energy, man.
SPEAKER_02It travels. Hey, that's a whole new nowadays. That's where we're going to. That's where we at, man. Money is energy, though.
SPEAKER_01Money is energy all day long. Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_02That's all it is.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, man. So shout out. We'll go to Charlotte and check it out. We'll do a little review for it. Oh, yeah. Well, what is it? No, no knife chicken to watch. We'll do it, man. Yeah, we'll do it. We'll do it. We'll do it before the year's out. We'll get out there. Yeah, matter of fact, we got some people in Charlotte. So we'll bring, might bring the gents. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Might bring the whole gents up and through there. That'll be a good look. That is. Uh huh.
SPEAKER_01Matter of fact, we need to start taking the gents to different. Man, we gotta talk about that offline, man. Oh, yeah. Y'all can't have the sauce, man.
SPEAKER_02Y'all can't have the sauce.
SPEAKER_01Alright. Uh all right, so that's cool,
What We Actually Listen To
SPEAKER_01man. Um, you know, one thing that our audience are always talking about, they ask us what genre of music do we listen to? So I'm gonna let you go first, man. Like, what you got playing at heavy rotation, man?
SPEAKER_00Mmm. Alright, so I I am pretty big on music. I like to stay current, I like to listen to the new stuff. I'm one of those people that's checking the charts for what's been released. Oh, yeah? So, what I've been listening to recently, uh, Erica Badu dropped the album. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Erica Badu just dropped some of her and uh The Alchemist. Okay. Producer The Alchemist. It's really good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I think it's the first album she's dropped in like 15 years or something. I believe that.
SPEAKER_02Like 10, 15 years or something like that.
SPEAKER_00I believe it. It's it's good. It's really good. So I like soul, you know, of course, hip-hop. I like hip hop. Okay. Um, believe it or not, I have a lot of uh rock songs on my playlist. Alternative rock is my favorite sub-genre of rock.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00And then I'll go house. That's probably how many ideas. Man, I ain't never heard you play house ever, though. This because it's almost like a guilty pleasure, man. House music is one of them things it's like, bro, you can't let nobody know the truth. Okay, okay, I'm about to say different jokes coming down. Yeah, it's a whole different, it's a whole different ballgame. But it's a funny story behind like how why uh house music resonated with me like that. Okay. And it's just because I guess it's not that funny. So back in my hometown, there was a um a DJ, uh radio DJ, and he would play house like after all the hip-hop and all that. After uh maybe, maybe it'd be like 10. It'd be late. It'd be actually way later than everybody sleeping. Unexpected. Yeah, it's it's so crazy how it would come on. Everybody sleep, man, next thing you know. You start hearing the house music, and I used to always wonder, like, yo, what is because nobody around me listened to it. Okay, okay. So I got it from the radio. So if it wasn't for that, for that DJ, and who knows why he was playing it. Right. But if it wasn't for him, I probably would have never got turned on to it. Introduced to it. Yeah, yeah. Shout out to the house music. Yeah, that's true. What about you though? Uh that's all you got though? You just boom, boom, boom. I mean, those that's mainly what I got in my you know, I I listen to a lot of different stuff. The only thing that I don't, I would say that is not ever gonna be on my playlist. Okay. And people gonna hate me for this, is country. I cannot get into it. I just can't get into it. None of it though. Like, ain't no some of them songs. I like some of the, you know, we talked about this before, it's some rappers that's kind of blending it. Right, right. I like some of those songs, but like pure, like, it's not gonna be no wrestler soul, Dolly Parton's not gonna be on there. It's not gonna be no the new, even the newer Morgan Walling, Lou Kong, Odin. Hey, but you know the name, so that's pretty good. I but but I just know like mu I'm just in the music like that, so I know the names, but I just not put them on my playlist.
SPEAKER_01I could dig it. I could dig it. You know, I um, you know, I'm more of uh whatever the vibe is, is is what the music. I I got some go-to stuff. You know, I I'm stuck in RB. I'm stuck in 90s RB. I'm stuck. So I'm talking about, you know, uh Guy, Jagged Edge, you know, you got Joe out there, you got 112, total, cut clothes, key sweat.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um I I was trying to remember this group. They're the 80s group, but I was trying to remember one of the songs and um the group is ready for the world. Now, so they had a song remember O'Sheila? Oh, yeah, I do know that. Oh Sheila. Okay, okay. That's how I'm aware of that. I was like, yo, remember that song. I remember, so the dude, the lead singer reminded me of a dark-skinned prince. Oh, okay. Right? So back in the day when, you know, the curls, the Moore's Day, and the time and all that, man. But uh, so I got some go-to's, man, but at the same time, you know, uh hip-hop, like hip, I gotta drive off on on off of hip-hop, right? So, and then that could be anybody, man. Um, that could be, you know, Ross, uh 50, it could be David East, like the locks are my go-to. Okay. Yeah, man, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So uh the rock schemes are crazy. Underrated, bro.
SPEAKER_01Well, I yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_02I don't think they get enough credit.
SPEAKER_01But uh, you know, RB 90s is always gonna be my go-to. You know, there's some really classic music, you know, in the 70s and 80s. Of course, you know, Mike, uh Mike and Prince, you know, they own the 80s and stuff like that. But uh yeah, 90s is always gonna be my my joint.
SPEAKER_00But Prince, though. Yeah. I got a question about Prince, because I just want to know, yeah,
Prince, Legends, And Questionable Lyrics
SPEAKER_00was Brothers really rocking with Prince like that? Because the way people talk about Prince, yeah, it's like he was one of the ones. Right. But I ain't gonna lie, I I I did a little research and I was going through, I'm like, yo, some of these songs.
SPEAKER_01So so there's a story behind that. Is a little story which which which I I'm I I can't I'm not gonna be the one to go through all that. But but it was crazy though, because uh, so you know, start out with Prince and the Revolution, right? So he had a group with him.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01And and I want to say when when he kind of went off on his own, he did change his music up a little bit, and it was like, yo, we we was feeling your vibe. Where are you going with? Yeah. So a lot of people feel that way, but I mean, at the same time, he's still legendary, man. Oh, yeah, for sure. He's still legendary, but uh you saying sus, though, some of the songs.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_01I think if you dig enough for everybody's music, there'll be some questionable lyrics. Oh, yeah. Everybody, like, why'd he say that? Yeah, big. What do you mean by that?
SPEAKER_02Biggie got a couple lines.
SPEAKER_01I already know where you're going, man. Yeah, why would you do that, man? Yo, just let the daughter, let him just be fine, man. On the record, man. On the record, though, man. Too much more. Right, still getting spins, man. All right, so let's keep it moving. So um, I want to make sure that, you know, right here in the middle of it. Um, big shout out to uh St.
St. Croix Purple Bash Announcement
SPEAKER_01Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. We'll be there October uh the 1st through the 4th. So we got the Purple Bash, man. Um we're hosting. He uh Jay is uh is modeling and doing some poetry up in there. Uh I'll be hosting it uh along with so so there's a new host um that was uh announced. Oh, yeah. So I had just met her, man, and so I'll I'll let them make the announcement. So I got a I got a female co-host now. Okay, cool. So I look forward to that. Because you know, I don't be one to be up there like that. Yeah, I know. You know, I need to be able to bounce back and forth with especially with a breezy, though, man. That makes it the best. You know, especially with a Brizzle. Hey, uh facts, man. Oh, big facts. Oh, facts. So yeah, that's gonna be talking about that. Yeah, I'm still big styled. 51 birthday vibes going Libra Nation. Come on, it's gonna be going crazy. So that'll be our um, you know, a couple times. You know, that'll be a couple times over there to the U.S. version now. So shout out to the US VI team, man. We'll see you guys uh first first week, first weekend of October.
SPEAKER_00I forgot. They got like a little hair sign. I'd have forgot how to do that.
SPEAKER_01Oh, we had a V and the I, man. Let's not do that here because maybe we misinterpreted by me. Right. Next thing you know, we're getting some some DMs from some other folks, man. Uh yeah, so definitely want to uh big shout out, so we'll be there with that. Um can we do the question of the day? Question of the uh Question of the Day, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Question of the day, question of the day.
SPEAKER_01Um So the question of the day, what we got,
What Age Should Men Marry
SPEAKER_01which uh, you know, we allow uh well we don't allow, we we uh look forward to our audience asking us a question, you know, a father and son, a pops and son conversation. Yeah. And so the the question of the day or the question of the episode was um when do you guys, meaning us, when do we feel like a good age that a man should get married? I thought that was a decent question.
SPEAKER_00I like it. I like that question.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna let you go first, cuz you know, I I got a couple on the back.
SPEAKER_00Uh to me, honestly, I feel like and I might be kind of cheating because I'm gonna answer it, but I'm not really answering it. When is a good age for a good age getting married?
SPEAKER_01Yep, when is a good age?
SPEAKER_00I don't really think there's an age per se.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um, because I I think there more than age, I don't think age is is as important. Though I I I think it matters a little bit.
SPEAKER_01But it definitely matters to women, though.
SPEAKER_00Uh well, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But but we're not talking about y'all.
SPEAKER_00But go ahead. Okay, yeah, but but yeah, yeah, like as a man, I think that there's a few things that you gotta establish for yourself first. For sure. Because one of the things I believe is that people say this all the time, like, you want to make sure that you have a certain level of stability and understanding within yourself.
SPEAKER_02Right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, so it's almost like if if if I'm if I'm unfinished or if I'm undeveloped, and then I go on to get involved with somebody, and hey, maybe they, you know, undeveloped, or maybe they finished, whatever the case is, there's there's there's gonna be a level of I don't want to say inequality, but but you're gonna you're you're not gonna feel right in that situation. Okay. At least from my experience.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, you know, I've been engaged and you were truthfully, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01What's the name?
SPEAKER_00That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01What's the name is why?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was engaged. Okay. Um, you know, looking back in hindsight, I I I I I could pinpoint a few reasons as to why, and I look and say, you know, bro, you you actually weren't your contributions or like their okay. Yeah, is that like like bro, you weren't ready. And if if y'all had, if you really had gone through with the marriage, it probably wouldn't have last. Like I could be honest and say to myself that I wasn't at the level that I that I um that I should have been mentally, okay, financially, spiritually, like all of the things, like everything. So I think that a man has to really acknowledge and be real with himself. Like you really gotta look in the mirror because there's so many factors around marriage, you know, and so many different pressures. Like you should get married at this age, or you should get married when this happens, you should get married before the baby, like all these different things. Right. And it's always on us because we're the ones that have to propose, we're the ones like we have to do all that. So you got all these different things spinning in your mind. Exactly, expectations and pressures. Right. But until you feel confident within yourself, I would say that to me, I think that's the main thing. When you feel confident in yourself as a man, as in your responsibility, and um basically like in in your position on on earth. Like walking in your role. Once you feel confident in that, then I would say, okay, now it's time to start, you know, maybe not even looking for it, but you're ready when it when it happens. Right. As opposed to not being ready and then entering that, you know, entering the marriage, and then it's like now you finding out all this stuff about yourself when that's the work you should have done you got married. So I don't really think it's an age thing. I think it's like a almost like a self-improvement, like a self-analysis thing, right when you're ready because that could come, everybody matures at a different level. So it could come at you, you know, at a younger age, you could be 18, 20. I doubt it, I highly doubt. I never I would never say get married that young, but some people do it and it lasts. So you can't really rule it out 100%. But I would say typically, you know, if I had to put an age on it, I would say somewhere in the 30s, because I think that's when a lot of people become concrete in themselves, understanding themselves, financial stability, you know, religious, whatever the case is. So somewhere in there, that's what I would say.
SPEAKER_01Man, that's that's really good.
SPEAKER_00I know it was kind of long-winded, but that's all right though, man.
SPEAKER_01It'll be chopped up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Put on the pod. The pod got to play it out, though.
SPEAKER_00Everything.
SPEAKER_01Everything, man. So they just can be subbed on the pod. Uh, so look, um, I think what you said, man, is is powerful. It also talks about, you know, um self-awareness, and that's that's uh that's major, man. You know, I I don't think that there is an age, uh, but I do think that there is a level of preparation, life experience, and and and open-mindedness because you're not gonna have the answers. You know, a lot of people are like, yo, I gotta wait till I make this amount of money, I gotta make sure, you know, I gotta pick the this this type of woman that's gonna accept me for me. And really, man, it's uh it's a balance or a compilation of all those things. Uh, but I would say life experience is gonna let you know. Um, you know, when when you talked about people getting married in their teens, I mean, obviously they did back in the day. That's how you be hearing about people married for 65 and 75 years. They started as 17, 18 years old, right? That's that's the only way they can get that type of uh sorority. Sorority said that it is okay anyway. All right, so so I I think that um there's not a specific age, but my recommendation, you know, would be for a young man. I think he needs to be um either he gets married relatively early or you experience life a little bit and get married while you're a little bit older. I think one once you're in the middle where you you're trying to figure it out, I think those are dangerous waters, right? So I would rather a young man at 23, 24 years old uh you know marry a young lady that he has, you know, gotten to know for some time. Maybe they even grew up so you know their background and things like that. That's a good point. And so you guys kind of grew up together. I really love those situations. I I wouldn't tell them to wait 10 years if you guys have already been together for three, four years. So get married, grow up together, experience things together, because the expectations are gonna be we're doing this together versus you should have already known this by now. You should be able to do that by now. Oh man. And so if you if you could do it young, you know, do it young. If not, go ahead and experience life. No, I'm talking about men. I ain't talking about you ladies. I ain't talking about them. I'm not talking about y'all, right? So uh if you can't do it young, you know, with somebody that you know you kind of grew up with, that type of thing, brother, go ahead and experience life, man. Work on your purpose.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Uh you know, get your confidence up, find out what your mission is, because everything that comes with that is going to be what it takes for you to be a good husband. First, you have to be a good man first. Right? So if you could do that, experience that, you know, if you can avoid unnecessarily unnecessary roughness, meaning, you know, uh a bunch of kids with with with uncommitted relationships and things like that, because that's really gonna, it's gonna hurt you in the long run when you're trying to build something with with one woman. Oh, yeah. Right? So it's gonna hurt you because you're gonna feel like you're gonna feel obligated to different households.
SPEAKER_02Of course.
SPEAKER_01Right? So that's just kind of the nature of it. If you can avoid that, you know, experience life, man, travel, know what it's like to have your own. Oh, man. You know what I mean? Your own ride, uh, your own money in your bank account, your own business, uh, your own career, entrepreneurship. Like, go through those struggles and the build, the build-up on your own, because it's gonna build character and it's gonna build a lot of discipline. And then when you meet your bride, man, she should be preparing herself to be a wife. So you're gonna be like, you know what? I deserve this woman. And she's gonna be like, I deserve this man. I thank God for this man that you know God has prepared him for me. That's a whole different relationship versus trauma bonding. You've been dogged out for the last 10 years, I've been dogging folks out for the last 10, and we bonded by that, it's gonna be difficult, man. And so if you if you could do it that way, God bless you, if you can't, you can still look at yourself right now and really take a strong uh assessment of yourself.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Seeing what you need first, because if you can't be the best version of yourself, you can't be what another uh what a woman needs. Because she needs your best version because she's gonna give it all she got. Oh, yeah. You know, women, there's a lot of requirements for uh wives. There's a lot of requirements. Like you are going to nurture this man, you're going to support this man's dreams. Like, because when you think about it, if a woman don't want to do that, if she's talking like he got to have this and this is what he got, that's the wrong woman out the gate. Her mindset needs to be multiplying what this man has. Because he's the one that has to, not the traditional protect and provide, but he has to put his life on the line for this woman. How much is that worth?
SPEAKER_00That's what they don't want to talk about.
SPEAKER_01He has to put his life on the line. He has to make certain sacrifices and compromise to make sure that she has the best, most comfortable life and lifestyle possible. Because if not, and he gets it on his own, that's a that's a whole different beast that a lot of women don't want to deal with, but that guy that feels like he deserves, which he should feel that way. I work hard for it. I did what I had to do. I should have my options at that point. If I don't want to deal with a woman, the likes of you, I don't have to do that. It doesn't matter how good you look. Yeah, you're gone. But how many followers you have? Well, it don't matter. Your social media value. Like that's so that. But that's a whole other conversation.
SPEAKER_00The social media value, we gotta talk about it. Oh, that's that's uh what's that concept? Social media value.
SPEAKER_01Social media value meaning
Social Media Value And Real Life
SPEAKER_01meaning so much love from social media, they think that they stock is high. Oh in real life.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, it's not it's not real.
SPEAKER_00It's not true. Yeah. So it's like inf it's an inflated uh uh figure in their head. That's right, right. Yeah. It's right. I get it.
SPEAKER_01It's right. We've got to look at the blue book.
SPEAKER_00I think that's prevalent. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's prevalent, man. Definitely. But but a lot of what you were saying, like, I think another point is I think some women just get it, man. And some don't. Definitely. Some just get it. And and and and they don't, when when these type of conversation and you'll see them in the com in the comments, hey, I'm gonna sit this one out. I'm gonna be quiet because this is the type of man I want. You know what I'm saying? Like, they know, they know, you know, what it what it really is, and just the same way you got guys out here, and you would look at guys, it's like, bro, you you're doing that wrong. That's that's not really what we jacking, but that's you know, that's their MO. That's that's how they operate. So, you know, you just gotta you gotta find the right one. Like you said, the woman that's preparing herself. Yeah. Um, yeah, I really like that point you brought up.
SPEAKER_01Man, look, um, and that's out there. Uh, you know, as we close, I mean, that's out there because sometimes it takes some women to go through so much to to be at uh a certain point of life to where you know what, it's not about his looks per or having a specific aesthetic. It's because she done dealt with that type and got certain results. So she she's not on that no more. Now she's like, okay, well, what's his character? What's his morals? What what's his his integrity? And you be thinking, girl, why you think about that in the beginning? You would have been had the right bands.
